Deck Description:

This deck is a Selesnya (G/W) +1/+1 counters stompy deck and its main win condition is to potentially go wide and go big. Our creatures start out as small attackers with low power and toughness but as the deck's engine goes on, they will eventually grow big enough to surprise your opponents and single someone out or everyone at the table for the win.

CHANGELOG:

02/02/2021:

Deckbuilder's Notes: Replacing some low impact cards for more board protection. The most crippling weakness of this deck is its susceptibility to any form of destruction and damage based boardwipes. Adding in Selfless Spirit and Dauntless Escort to protect our board will ensure our dominant board state is resilient to such effects. Eladamri's Call synergizes well in trying to find these two cards when your board is strong. Consider finding space for Chord of Calling as well.

02/02/2021:

Deckbuilder's Notes: We trade out Khalni Ambush   -- a fight effect spell and our 36th land -- for Eladamri's Call which can tutor creature cards that we need to protect our board or set up our engine. We replaced Vigor because while its effects protect our creatures in combat, at the point in the game where we could cast Vigor , we won't really be concerned with potential, threatening blockers because our creatures would already be high on power and toughness -- so there would be no use playing it other than protecting our creatures from combat damage or damage based removal. Replacing it with Soul of New Phyrexia not only protects us from more than just damage based removal, it is also an artifact creature that could potentially be cast for free because of Hamza's abilities.

21/01/2021:

Deckbuilder's Notes: Venerated Loxodon is a favorite pet card of mine, but it is too slow compared to the other cards that distribute +1/+1 counters in our deck and is somewhat a no-mbo with Hamza's CMC discount. We replace it with Lifeblood Hydra that could potentially act as a failsafe should the board become wiped; as well as having an X cost that works well with Hamza's CMC discount ability. We remove Inscription of Abundance as a low-impact interaction card for a new card from Kaldheim that gives us high impact value -- the new Vorinclex!
