This one up is my deck. (last update: February 17, 2019)

I'm fine-tuning it. My goal is to mount the Infect deck used in major events. I count on the suggestions of the community to improve it.

A competitive infect deck lacks presentations, if you have questions about what it looks like and works, search YouTube for "infect + aaron barich" or "infect + tom ross" and check out the latest gameplays.

Strategy and how it works

Our mission is to build a consistent board that allows us to win the game in the 4th or 5th turn.

One or two creatures, one pump, three or four protections, two lands. That's what I consider a good opening hand.

Aggro Decks will kill you from the 4th turn.

Control Decks will have the game controlled from the 5th turn.

We dont yet have the explosive power of a full set of Noble Hierarch and all fetchlands.

Difficultly we will fight for the victory in the 2nd or 3rd turn. Although not impossible.

In game

1st ~ 3rd turn.

Always have a backup protection/counter.

Make sure you apply 2 to 4 infect counters.

Play cards such as Spellskite , Wild Defiance , Shapers' Sanctuary .

Know how to attack defensively.

Force the opponent to sacrifice creatures to block them.

Force the opponent to spend a burn or removal.

Be cautious with your fetch and shock lands and try not to take much damage.

If you have more creatures, dont hesitate to use one as a bait.

At worst, make use of your pumps and protections to defend and attack defensively, of course, sparing the forces to end the game in subsequent turns.

4th ~ 6th turn.

Now, those 2 ~ 4 infect counters will make more sense than ever.

Ideally, at this point you have enough strength and protection to beat the enemy in one blow.

Check your opponent's tapped lands, make sure the order in which you cast the spells.

Explaining some peculiarities

Sylvan Scrying - Although it's off most competitive lists, using this card is something I wont give up at the time my deck crosses. It serves as a toolbox, can correct my mana base with a Breeding Pool , can serve as a pump bringing Cathedral of War , can bring a creature like Inkmoth Nexus .

Wild Defiance - This card is incredible, one of my favorites. When in the game is a pump and a protection without "cost". I see this card as a salvation for my deck. This is because it protects me and strengthens me without "cost" until I complete my set of Noble Hierarch and fetchlands.

Note: The exposed mechanics and play mode take into account the deck's current composition.

Updates Add

At last I was in the "competitive", and although I did not achieve any success, the experience was rewarding.

In the first round, by the odd number of participants, there was no opponent left for me and I won the points of a victory. I soon remembered the teachings of our High Councilor of Jin-Gitaxias, user: itachi45, and saw the decks the staff was using.

In the second round I faced a Golgari Midrange, I was massacred, 0-2 very easy for my opponent who controlled the two matches.

In the third round came a UW Control. In the first game I was totally controlled, the famous Jace came to the game, and my deck left the game. In the second I managed to win, I freed my Glistener Elf from the target of a Path of Exile with my Spell Pierce, Wild Defiance on turn 3, turn 4 combo for the win. In game three I reached the 4 turn with 2 creatures on the table, the opponent was on the top deck and fished a Supreme Verdict and my game went downhill. 1-2.

In the fourth round I faced an 8 rack, in the first game combo in the turn 3, and I won. In the other games I was greatly harmed by Inquisition of Kozilek and Smallpox, the opponent totally controlled the game. 1-2 again. 13th place guaranteed.

As I will travel this month I will leave to participate in another game day only next month. Until then we will see if I improve my sideboard, Carrion Call, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Nature's Claim and Invisible Stalker . Hopefully I get something more for mana base, anyway ...

I hope you have enjoyed the report, the next ones I will post here too.

Cya.
