This is my first attempt at a Group Hug/Group Squeeze deck. I saw Xyris, the Writhing Storm and it immediately struck me as a fun way to take my favorite deck style (Selesnya Tokens) and put it into yet another color combo and play style.

The deck is built around the idea of helping your opponents out with land drops and card draw while hiding behind cards like Crawlspace and Propaganda. There is a secondary theme of Snake Tribal, with Coat of Arms and Seshiro the Anointed.

The end goal of the deck is to perform at least 1 of 4 things: 1) Help your opponents do the cool things their decks are trying to do; 2) draw through your own deck and win via Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac; 3) Force your opponents to draw through their entire deck with cards like Forced Fruition and Blue Sun's Zentih; or 4) Win via the snake token beatdown.
