A grixis control list using Ral, Storm Conduit and copy spells. Originally, I tried Kiki/splinter twin, which was fine, however the needing to both cast them on my turn and the mana cost for at least splinter twin (being at least 2 red, 3 in the case of Kiki Jiki) sometimes made it hard to keep up enough mana for the counter war. That and needing to set up deceiver exarch or pestermite a turn before, or on your opponent's endstep could be a huge detriment to winning in one turn if you're trying to go off with splinter twin.

Ral adds more utility with our spells like Demonic Tutor to get two copy spells to win the game on the spot. Or on our opponents turn we can pull the trigger and kill them on their untap step. Along with comboing Chain of Smog Off of Ral forcing your blue control opponent to burn 2 counterspells instead of one is a big deal.

Points: Demonic Tutor 4, Vampiric Tutor 2, Mana Drain 1, Dig Through Time 1, Mystical Tutor 2.
