I agree about every meta being different. Mine is very aggro right now so I don't really have the need for PTE. But if my meta had more midrange or control, I would consider running PET for those bigger targets.

I don't play Magic Friday nights. But the last modern event I played in I placed 2nd with a record of 3-1 playing Jund burn. I have yet to play this Mardu build in an event. Hopefully this upcoming Tuesday I will get a chance.

I have a deck just like this but it's mono red. I run Vexing Devil in it, I think it would be good.

The problem I have with Vexing Devil is that it gives my opponent a choice. Anyone I've ever played against with the Devil has gladly taken the 4 damage on turn 1. Mid to late game your opponent can CHOOSE to have it stay and kill it with a spell in the end of your turn. This is why I do not play Vexing Devil anymore.
