Green Modern Ramp on a Budget

Modern Aggro Budget Casual Mono-Green Ramp

slvstrChung

Maybeboard

Green has changed a lot since I started playing during 4th Edition. But it's the color I started out with (my first-ever Starter Deck contained a Force of Nature, then the largest creature in the game), so I'm revisiting my roots.

The ramping is obvious, but when my wife pilots this deck she has a very specific strategy: she uses Lead the Stampede to find Bellowing Tanglewurm. This allows her to establish an unstoppable board presence and clock threat by turn 4. The rest is almost an afterthought.

Though I'm very focused on budget deckbuilding, there's typically at least a few rares involved. Not so this one; it's rare-free. It does have a bunch of uncommons, though, so it doesn't fit into Pauper either. (What's next up from that? Middle-Class?)
