Battlecruiser Magic

Howdy partner, and welcome to Maelstrom Wanderer's Yee-Haw Game Ranch, your one-stop shop for slammin and jammin. People always ask me "Geez, how can you like playing interactive decks? Just play some good old battlecruiser magic." So, I made this pile.

The Best Removal is Player Removal

When I made this deck, I had a plan in my mind for the gameplan:

  1. Ramp.

  2. Play big enough threats that your opponent's little dinky value engines would not save them.

  3. Slam.

So you'll notice some things about this deck. I have more ramp than any one person should put in a deck, that I have no removal, and that I'm running some of the most premium creatures and enchantments in the format. Obviously, if you want to make this deck yourself you can feel free to change the creatures, but I would not change the ramp. Trust me, you do need this much.

Combo(s)

So I'll be totally honest, this deck has two infinite combos. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts to make infinite dudes, and Food Chain + Misthollow Griffin which makes infinite mana. Now, do you need them? Absolutely not. But if you're actually feeling threatened by your opponents and are afraid you aren't going to come out on top, a quick Tooth and Nail for Kiki and Conscripts never hurts. Especially when its turn 4.
