2022-12 Update: Moving to modular deck designs for Pioneer and Modern. Updates to the deck include trading some Thought Erasures for Thoughtseize, Removed Consider for Opt, as it plays better in this deck.

• Turn 1: Thoughtseize, Opt or Fatal Push
• Turn 2: Thought Erasure, Drown in the Loch, Siphon Insight or double spell like Turn 1
• Turn 3: Thief of Sanity or flashback Siphon Insight to get the card stealing started
• Turn 4: Gonti, Lord of Luxury
• Turn 5: Yeah, there's no way to plan this far ahead in this deck.

2021-12 Update: moved Dragonlord Silumgar to the side board, along with Lochmere Serpent. Cut Distended Mindbender altogether, as the sequencing never worked out. Upgraded Omen of the Sea to Dig Through Time and Hostage Taker to Siphon Insight.

Dimir control with Dragonlord Silumgar and your opponent’s stuff as finishers.

Turn 2 - Options are: A - hand disruption via Thought Erasure B - hold up mana for Negate or Anticipate on end step

Turn 3 - options are: A - Thief of Sanity B - Never / Return C - hold up mana for Fatal Push and the Negate or Anticipate option on end step.

Turn 4 - best Option is Gonti, Lord of Luxury

The remaining turns are dependent upon your opponents deck and the cards you can take from them.

Reasons for the other cards: Twilight Prophet - late game card draw and life gain. This fun-of copy is meant to be played after turn 6.

Distended Mindbender - Emerge this Eldrazi bug if you take a creature with Dragonlord Silumgar.

Arch of Orazca - very late game card draw. I included this after I kept losing to it in control mirrors.

Lochmere Serpent - this is in the testing phase. It may be traded for God-Eternal Bontu

Side is built for creature/artifact heavy decks. After you know your opponent’s win-con, Unmoored Ego should always be boarded in.
