The idea for this deck came from looking at decks which attempt to make infinite mana and then use the commander as an outlet to win the game. What makes Golos an interesting general for this prototype is the ability to arbitrarily tutor a single land into play, in this case Lotus Field . Having a reliable means of fetching it lets us build synergies around its presence.

The first thing we would like to do is grab a creature which lets us untap Lotus Field so that we can generate extra mana from it. This lets us quickly build a solid board state by hardcasting cards until we can start activating Golos to dig through the deck faster.

The second thing we would like to do is generate infinite mana of all colors, so that we can use Golos to dig through our deck arbitrarily until we draw into an outlet which wins the game. Conveniently, Freed from the Real does this if we have a land untap creature and Lotus Field on the board. We can also fall back on Deadeye Nagivator + Cloud of Faeries with lotus field out, both of which can be useful even as regular draws or Golos exiles. Additionally, since these two combos use non non-permanents, we'll never accidentally lose one to the graveyard/exile by being forced/unable to cast it from a Golos activation.

We also run Ley Weaver + Maze of Ith , as we can go get off of Golos (or Crop Rotation ) if we happen to have Ley Weaver in hand.

Dramatic Scepter for keks, we run some artifact/instant tutor so maybe we'll get lucky. If not, we can always use Reversal for some one time ramp or imprint a utility spell.

Once we have infinite mana, we can activate golos as many times as we want to dig through our deck for an outlet. The primary wincon of this deck uses Laboratory Maniac, but we can also deck everybody with Mindshrieker + Windfall or by looping Windfall Winds of Rebuke + Memory's Journey + Noxious Revival .
