This is a deck that I have made by looking at other Simic +1/+1 counter decks. I don't really know how it'll perform yet, but I would like to see some feedback :)
This deck revolves around using things like Gilder Bairn to quickly double counters on my creatures, as well as using
Lorescale Coatl
and Sage of Fables to draw cards. This deck probably starts going at turn 3, and late-game can be insanity.
Cards like Mirrorweave are completely broken in this deck, as
Simic Guildmage
moving around my counters makes for a one-sided Wrath of God simply by targeting my 0/0 creature. As if that wasn't enough,
Plaxcaster Frogling
can protect my creatures from any targeting spell, while my Cytoplast Manipulator can take control of any creature on the other side simply by using any graft creature or Experiment Kraj.
Cytoplast Root-Kin
can also be insane, for if all my creatures have counters they gain another one.
As for the feedback, there are some things I DON'T want to see, specifically:-"USE Doubling Season!!!" This card is way too expensive. No matter what you say, I am NOT buying this card.-"USE Voidslime" See above.-"Add two more lands." I already have 3 Birds of Paradise in this deck, so adding more lands and removing key creatures isn't worth it. Besides, my mana curve practically ends at 4.-"Use
Evolution Vat
" This card is way to expensive to be practical. I'm talking mana-wise, of course. Besides, I'm probably never going to have 0 mana left just in case I might need some pseudo-reach or shroud.-"Use
Cytospawn Shambler
" No, no, no. Way too expensive. There is no way I am adding any card to this deck that makes me spend more than 6 mana at once - that's why
Evolution Vat
isn't in here. I understand the importance of trample, but that's why I have Primordial Hydra.
