According to Magic lore, Ghired, Conclave Exile maintains a strong connection to creatures and doesn't hesitate to call on them to help when needed (e.g. 4/4 Trampling Rhinos). I decided to focus on that theme and the goal of this deck is fairly simple: durdle and survive until you can get your army of big fat idiots on the board swinging for tons of combat damage.
