Do you like to cast a notoriously B.I.G trampling dinosaur for 2 green mana practically all game long? Would you like to have mana for days PLUS land benefits and card draw triggers as the cherries on top? Well then this is the green deck for you! This is my current paper magic Ghalta EDH deck. I not only rebuilt this deck based on a previous green build, but added certain explosive cards, that will rock your opponents multi-colored socks right off. I'm a fan of creature based decks so in theory you could add more of the other card types at your discretion. I find green benefits most from creatures present on the board (shout out to cards like giant adephage and apex devastator) and card draw effects to keep momentum and recover from potential board wipes. Below is a breakdown of the most important card synergies and purposes within the deck.

Synergy Breakdown

Ghalta Primal Hunger: This card was love at first bite. Needless to say any other big creatures on your side of the battlefield make ghalta jealous and this has deck plenty of em'. He easily sneaks out for as little as 2 green mana with his cost reduction ability. Late game he still shines as cost reduction easily overshadows recasting costs in most scenarios.

Worldspine Wurm: Nothing says scary like a 15/15 trampling Wurm the size of a city block. Reminds me of the movie tremors but even bigger. Oh and when it dies? You get 3 - 5/5 trampling wurms. Extra respect for players who hard cast this monstrosity.

Impervious Greatwurm: Indestructible 16/16 Wurm. Levels cities when he rolls out of bed in the morning. Convoke your creatures to get him out sooner.

Artisan of Kozilek: A fun and balanced Eldrazi. Combos with any big threats in grave. Won't necessarily make your friends hate you.

Primalcrux: Combos with every green permanent in the deck to become very large and in charge for 6 green mana.

Scute swarm: Benefits heavily from ramp and eventually get out of hand with multiple copies of scute swarm.

Apex Devastator: Shall we finish this game now or after all my cascade triggers?

Triplicate Titan: Huge threat that dies and leaves behind other threats. That's the sub theme of the deck if you hadn't noticed.

Gigantosaurus: 5 mana for a 10/10. Green creatures never miss a trip to the gym bro.

Giant Adephage: Huge threat that multiplies itself and can get out of hand fast.

Terastodon: Big removal bomb attached to a beefy elephant. Most creatures in this deck can truck the 3/3 your opponents get in exchange for their best non creature permanent.

Hydra Omnivore: Allows you to bully the whole table anytime an opportunity to get through shows itself. Give it buffs or trample for more fun.

Crash of Rhino Beetles: Solid mid game trampler that becomes as big as Worldspine Wurm when you hit 10 lands.

Ancient Stone Idol: Huge flash trampler with reduced cost based on attacking creatures. Replaces himself with giant trampling token upon death.

Soul of New Phyrexia: Solid board protection even from the grave if necessary.

Hydra Brood master: Don't underestimate the amount of gigantic hydras this card has the potential to produce quickly.

Spawnrithe: Trampler that makes token copies of itself when it hits a player. Can get out of hand.

Soul of the harvest: Solid etb draw power attached to a trampler.

Steel Hellkite: Helps give mono green some dedicated removal. Total powerhouse.

Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma: Creature cost reduction and gives trample to all attackers. Combos well with large creatures who don't already have trample.

Oran-Rief Hydra: Big Trampler that gets two +1+1's when a forest enters the battlefield. Combos with mana ramp spells.

Karametra's Acolyte: Very underated budget mana ramp. Taps for devotion to green and has 4 toughness to boot.

Selvala's Stampede: Practically no downside and extremely fun card to cast. Chucks baddies on the battlefield from your deck or hand.

Burgeoning: Crazy ramp if played early. Best turn 1 for the deck period.

Lure of Prey: Rather cost effective way to just throw out a huge green creature from your hand to the battlefield.

Zendikar Resurgent: Double your mana and draw etb for creatures. Good late game closer if you draw enough beforehand.

Triump of Ferocity: You will probably have the biggest creature on the battlefield most of the time. Clutch draw power enchantment.

Soul's Majesty: Draw an enormous amount of cards for 5 mana.

Collossification: Makes a creature unnecessarily large but taps them. Become the target of the table at enchantment speed.

Invoke the Ancients: Amazing value for 5 mana. Gives you two large token bodies with your choice of vigilance, reach, or trample. Imagine the possibilities.

Unnatural Growth: Are you kidding me? Doubling the power and toughness of your creatures during combat is just dirty in this deck.

Rishkar's Expertise: Huge draw power and free 5 mana or less spell right after the draw. Good card to keep tempo.

Harmonize: Budget early game card draw. I have the Japanese alternate art. It is gorgeous.

Managorger Hydra: A growing trampler that makes opponents pay for casting lots of spells.

Hornet Nest: Pretty amazing chump blocker that spawns death touch hornets equal to the damage it takes. Tell the other players to buzz off.

Beast Within: Simply amazing permanent removal. Once again the creatures in this deck can easily curb stomp a 3/3 elephant.

Elvish Piper: I don't care how big of a target she is... They better know what is coming.

Life's Legacy: Honestly sacrificing a big creature is a small price to pay for drawing cards equal to it's power. This deck loves cards in hand.

Pattern of Rebirth: A nasty protection spell that punishes opponents for wiping the board, attacking into you, or target destroy spells.

Elemental Bond: Huge draw for power synergy.

Harvest Season: Good to very good based on your board state.

Nissa's Pilgrimage: Cultivate for forests but even better late game.

Shaper's Sanctuary: Solid card to gain you card advantage when you opponents target your problematic humongous green rompers.

Greenwarden of Murasa: Grave to hand ability. Also the effect is attached to a decent sized creature.

Seedborn Muse: Makes sure you have blockers and available mana all the time.

Strata Scythe: Amazing pump equipment for mono green. Fun Fact: Basically none of the creatures in the deck could realistically wield a scythe.

Loxodon Warhammer: A good source of trample and lifelink when needed.

Swiftfoot Boots: Solid cost for Hexproof and haste. Let's green fatties swing earlier and protects them well.

Gilded Lotus: Good mana rock to pay for late game finishers.

Llanowar Druid: Just kinda funny but doubles green mana when sacrificed.

Nature's Lore: Efficient early ramp card.

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds: Card draw and mana ramp contained in the same card.

Predator's Rapport: Solid life gain spell when your goal is to create huge combinations of power/toughness anyway.

Stomp and Howl: Kill two stones with one bird. Sorry, one artifact and one enchantment for 3 mana.

Lignify: Ghalta Primal Hunger will use your opponents new tree folk as a toothpick.
