(Feel free to switch to "Custom" to see the Venn diagram of categories) Casual Commander deck, I tried to stay as focused as I could with the theme of gaining control of opponents’ creatures until end of turn and sacrificing them to hurt opponents / help you / potentially buff your creatures. Sub-theme of sacrificing your opponents' creatures to burn them for their creatures' power/toughness/etc or gain life to stay in the game.

Lately I’ve been running it with partner commanders [Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder] and [Ravos, Soultender] as opposed to [Tariel, Reckoner of Souls] & I have to say they are really awesome together & can get this deck poppin’ off relatively quick. Just retrieving your creatures from the GY w/ Ravos has been crucial to the deck. I don’t think it’s super competitive obviously but I’ve only been playing MTG for ~9 months & I really enjoy running it in 3-4 player games. Also lucky me, RNA had at least 2-4 cards that fit perfectly in here, i.e. [Priest Of Forgotten Gods], [Macabre Mockery], and [Smelt-Ward Ignus].

What do you think? Is this a weird way to go about this idea? The mana curve is wonky, it seems to have worked well so far when I'm playing it but I'm definitely open to suggestions about some 2- and 6- drops replacements. I’m excited to finish a Grixis version of this deck I’ve been working on w/ splice onto arcane as a sub-theme too, just for fun!
