This deck is one of my favorites, because it has so many ways to go off. Want to go wide with a bunch of tokens that each have several +1/+1 counters on them? It can do that. Want to control the field, forcing everybody to sac a bunch of creatures (while powering up your own)? It can do that. But the number one thing this deck likes to do is go infinite, and while there are a few ways to do this in this deck, the main one does this by manipulating the stack. All you need is Mazirek, a sac outlet, and a creature with persist, and there are several of each of those in this deck. You sac the creature with persist, and stack the triggers so the persist trigger resolves first, coming back with a -1/-1 counter, then the sac trigger resolves, putting a +1/+1 counter on all your creatures, which cancels out the -1/-1 on the persist dude. Rinse and repeat, and at the bare minimum you have infinite counters on all your creatures except for the persist dude. With Blood Artist on the field, or using Blasting Station as your sac outlet (which untaps every time the persist dude reenters), all your opponents just die. It's that simple. What? You want it simpler? What if we combined the sac outlet and persist into one creature? Enter Aerie Ouphes. It needs to have a target, so just kill all your opponents' flyers, and then ping Mazirek until he's almost dead, and on the opponents' turns do it again. If you can give Mazirek indestructibility, this goes infinite as well. Fecundity allows you to draw your deck, Devoted Druid, one of the champions of this deck, will give you infinite green mana whenever you want, and is also handy to get Mazirek out on turn 3. There are plenty of lands that give you sac triggers, and Splendid Reclamation and Ramunap Excavator are there to give you a second use of those lands. Fetches and Ramunap are a great combo to ensure you never miss a land drop. This deck would like to keep its combo pieces, so we have Heroic Intervention, Inspiring Call (which doubles as a card draw), Golgari Charm (which is a handy multitool), and Warping Wail countering sorcery-speed board wipes (as well as also being a handy multitool). We've got plenty of creature ramp which can later be turned sideways for damage once you've gotten stabilized with mana. We've got plenty of ways to force your opponents to sacrifice creatures, and a lot of things that produce Eldrazi Spawns and Scions. There are so many interactions hidden within this deck that I couldn't possibly cover them all, so just do what I do and have fun!
