How to kill temur energy.

  • Awesome deck for the meta, i did 4/1 on my last FNM with this deck.

Stats so far:

  • Won in 2 vs Temur energy
  • Lost in 2 vs Approach... i made a huge misplay while counting for approach, my plan was to counter it with Disallow that i acquired with Gonti but i miscount and tappedout :(.
  • Won in 2 vs Temur energy
  • Won in 3 vs Black/Red aggro.
  • Won in 2 vs God f gift deck.

Cards Use:

  • I love Seekers' Squire, give you an early blocker , give you the opportunity to put a GH in the grave or ensure you get your lands.

  • treasure map is also a very good mana sink on turn 3 and help you to have a very good turn 5/6.

  • Removal did work very well and i love the option of having Harsh Scrutiny and one Duress mainboard as i can check whats im up againts on game 1.

  • Supernatural Stamina is just too good, you can protect you GH and get an other ETB and what i end up doing most of the time when i couldnt interact with my opponent board. I was killing my own Gonti with my Noxious GH targeting Gonti gaining some life and casting SS on my Gonti getting an other ETB... works great with Combustible Gearhulk.

  • card:Cut/ribbon usually end up in the grave at one point and its just an amazing sneaky way to hit 6/7 dmg to the face late game.

Sideboard:

  • Sideboard is Balance i think: Vs temur i mainboard Harsh scrutiny and Lost Legacy, and everything with deathtouch which is great vs a huge hydra ..

  • I also think the deck is good, aggro, control and for token deck.

Ajustment:

  • The only card i might replace is -1 Cataclysmic Gearhulk in the main.. keep the one in the SB and add a 2nd Gonti main or maybe a Combustible. I am also unsure about walk the plank... did not used it at all.

  • Land wise maybe i would be better cuttin a card:Insiping Vantage and get an 4th Dragonskull Summit

Remark:

  • Please leave me suggestion or comments. By the way ive been playing Gearhusk deck's since Kaladesh. And i found that now they are in a very good position as the deck is a bit more protected vs aggro and that there is less and less playes playing 4x Abrade they mostly have 1 main and 1 side which is fine as we can bring our GH back with Refurbish and liliana, death's majesty .
