Pauper GB Aristocrats with some new additions from recent sets: Village Rites and Bone Picker ! Rites gives the deck a really cheap source of card advantage and another sac outlet. It also plays really well as a cheap enabler for the recently downshifted Bone Picker .

2021 Edit: We got a new enabler in Bayou Groff ! I evaluate it as probably better than Gurmag Angler in this deck.

Brief synopsis of the deck:

Carrion Feeder , Bayou Groff , and Village Rites are the main sac outlets. The payoffs are recursive cards ( Young Wolf , Blisterpod ) and cards that are triggered by sacrifice ( Mortician Beetle , Bone Picker , Tragic Slip , Hunger of the Howlpack ).

Loam Dryad is great for double-spelling early. Nest Invader may look innocuous, but it's actually the secret ingredient that makes the deck run smoothly. Always play four!

Winding Way is there to refuel your hand in the late game, help out-value control and midrange decks, and enable Gurmag Angler (not in the deck right now, but it can be put in).
