@Degonvey, it's in the maybeboard, because I feel like it's not as good as Ogre Battledriver in this deck. I may well run both, though.

@firerunner36 In this particular build, I think I prefer Ogre Battledriver , and I'm pretty sure that I don't want both of them in here. Thanks for the suggestion though; I'll put it right over in the maybe board!

What about Garruk, Caller of Beasts over Sarkhan Vol ? I feel like the card advantage and the ability to drop a Godsire or Terastodon for 0 cmc and that ultimate - which is easily achievable whilst your opponents bash each other with pumped creatures - makes him a bit more cohesive within the strategy of the deck.

Also, what about Gruul Ragebeast ?

@Degonvey I do like the look of that Garruk. He is a bit on the expensive side though. I may try to find a way to squish him in.

Legion's Initiative might be good, granted its a three color so some guys will miss out, but i think the active on it would still be a good reason to consider

@Aelorith2117 Reveillark wouldn't really do anything in this deck. I will most definitely consider the other two though; I could use some bringing-back-edge.

I only add the Reveillark because with the other 2 it's an infinite combo. both Saffi Eriksdotter and Karmic Guide have power 2 or less!

Love it! A lot of fun. I have a lot of the same elements in my Naya deck. How about Lightning Helix for a nice smack and life gain. And, True Conviction because it's funny. Take a look at mine, Rith's big bad beatdown. Might like it.

@Aelorith2117 Ah, gotcha. Generally speaking though, I'm not much of a fan of infinite combos, especially when one of the cards wouldn't have much use outside of the combo.

@Blackheart426 Thanks! As far as those two cards go, I'm not a fan. In EDH I find long-term effects to be more useful than one-time-smacks like Lightning Helix , and True Conviction isn't really something I would want to spend that much mana on really.

@M4dGun I'm definitely considering Assemble the Legion . I already have Ogre Battledriver for hastiness, but I do have several options if I want to include more.

Gahiji, Honored One Is my version of gahiji. Granted my deck is focused around having effects that trigger on combat and multiple combat phases. I would still take a look incase you see anything you think might help

@zachi I think I may have looked at it before. I definitely like the idea of Insurrection as a finisher. How has it worked out for you?

I just recently made the list, but the original deck, just W/R, worked pretty well, just had slight issues with mana. I did manage to one shot kill someone with auerlia on the field. Thats why the point of my deck is to abuse the combat phase. I beat a player with Tajic, Blade of the Legion , Aurelia, the Warleader , Herald of War and Firemane Avenger . I might put Captain Sisay in there just to get my key players out on the field fast.
