Equipment based Boros deck, heavily tweaked from the Armed For Battle precon from Commander Legends.

The deck carries 17 pieces of equipment which we aim to attach to Akiri, Line-Slinger for commander damage utilising Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar 's ability to damage our other opponents. However we are also packing some other great Voltron creatures which have great synergy such as Kazuul's Toll Collector & Wyleth, Soul of Steel to ensure we can get the damage through. Equiping Valduk, Keeper of the Flame as our voltron piece will allow us to go wide when we swing in and with the benefit of Odric, Lunarch Marshal on the field all our 3/1 tokens created by Valduk will have just the same boosts (trample, double strike, deathtouch etc.)

A Voltron play style means we're always looking for ways to ensure our attacks can meet their target. For this we have some key cards to stop our attacks from being thwarted with the likes of Briber's Purse , Spirit Mantle , Unquestioned Authority , Whispersilk Cloak & Rogue's Passage with a powerful back up option in Master Warcraft for a key attack.

Ensuring whichever voltron piece we are using stick around a good chunk of our equipment gives them hexproof, or shroud with Lightning Greaves , Swiftfoot Boots , Mask of Avacyn & Whispersilk Cloak .

Running a low level of creatures means we need to be prepared for retaliatory attacks. We can use Master Warcraft to control a particularly scary boardstate when we know an attack is due or we can use one our board wipes to clear the deck with Single Combat , Slash the Ranks , Winds of Rath , or Martial Coup . Another option is the two fog effects we have on board in Dawn Charm & Deflecting Palm .

Finding the equipment we need is not going to be an issue with Open the Armory , Taj-Nar Swordsmith & Restoration Specialist & Relic Seeker . We can even find easy ways to equip them and reduce their costs with Nahiri, Storm of Stone , Danitha Capashen, Paragon , Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist , Puresteel Paladin & Sigarda's Aid .
