When the dark day came, that horrible day when new phyrexia finaly implemented its root on Mirrodin, the Praetors celebrated their coalition by gruesomly transforming Atraxa, Praetors' Voice into the horror she is now. But, strangely, this collective endeavor showed how brittle is the Praetor's unity ; Urabrask the Hidden did nothing to participate. Instead, he went on in his hot depths, with projects unknow to others... Or that is what was thought. Fact is, he did put his grain of salt in the lot. Secretly, he modified Atraxa in such ways that when she would infuse the dark oil into her victims, she would innevitably oozify them. None of the other Praetor, obsessively concentrated on individual goals, noticed this blemish on phyrexian perfection. Thus, a era of ooze began.

''Ooze it up, little darling, ooze it up'', sang together Oozy Oozborn and Booze Oozlay.

Hello folks, welcom to my iteration on EDH Atraxa, Praetors' Voice !! First, I meant to create a deck relying on Oozes, but was a bit crestfallen when I realized there was not that many synergic oozes out there... (I streched it a bit with Consumptive Goo, but its just too oozy to discard) so here's what I made. Heck, it irritates me that there's still some unslimy creatures arround but it's still fresh so I'm looking for pieces that will both help the deck thematically and strategically. To be clear, the cards that don't fit aesthetically or thematically are (or were, I still leave them here for my memory's sake) ; Juniper Order Ranger, Reyhan, Last of the Abzan, Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker, Champion of Lambholt and maybe Master Biomancer. You can see how all those cards can be quite good in the deck, but, call me picky, I don't feel their inner Ooze. Quite honestly, I'm thorn. And that's not considering non-creatures spell, a hump to tackle some other time.

Also, I know planeswalkers are not very gooey, but do you know one that is? They're just so good with Atraxa, so I put them in. No intention to make this a superfriend deck though. You could say they are here to fight Atraxa, but were mesmerise by her guile...

So If anything comes to your mind, please share it!

Whats good in this deck, some synergies;

-Atraxa, Praetors' Voice + Winding Constrictor and planeswalker for more loyalty! I quite like Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Tamiyo, Field Researcher ''until your next turn'' abilities considering that Atraxa's vigilant

-Corpsejack Menace + Forgotten Ancient counters every upkeep, on all your monstruosities!

-As Foretold + Atraxa, Praetors' Voice The I told you so combo. Also Tamiyo, Field Researcher. Well, proliferate does that on all the types of counters you like, I'm just pointing this out because I haven't seen As Foretold being played that much

-Consumptive Goo...!! Just AWESOME GOO

-Arcane Adaptation + Biogenic Ooze everything is finaly ooze... thank you Mtg. Not only that, but now we got a ooze lord to blurp fwouigle up our slimy "folks"
