Taken from the remnants of my first deck, Lose a Little, Get a Lot (Ob Nixilis), this build is a nice introductory commander deck that I feel is a good "75% build" packed with ramp, interaction, and draw.

A quick rundown of the deck..

If we look towards the "custom categories" tab, we see that the deck holds a healthy amount of removal, draw and lifegain cards in order to keep us around until the bitter end. The best thing about this deck is it's active, fun and has a lot of variety.

1. Set up the board.

During your first couple turns, you'll mostly be playing rocks like Thought Vessel or drop some tiny creatures like Burnished Hart to get us closer to the main event. This deck is all about midrange so if the meta is super aggro make sure you have a wipe handy.

2. Get all the mana.

This deck has a fair amount of tutors and a card I always like to grab early is Cabal Coffers for all the ramp. One of the best things about Cabal is that it is not legendary, so feel free to make copies to avoid getting Strip Mine'd. In case that does occur, we have some land recursion. 3. Figure out the path to victory

Whether its going voltron (Hatred is an all-star), getting a bunch of mana with Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire, or creating a soft-lock on the field with Contamination + Bitterblossom or Reassembling Skeleton this deck gives plenty of avenues to stay alive and try to win.
