This deck is looking to capitalize on the best card ever printed in Magic's history: Storm Crow. I know it's likely to get banned in modern soon, since it's already been banned in casual and kitchen table games worldwide.Before that happens, I want to get in at least one game with this awesome piece of history.
There's a couple things at play here.
First: Storm Crow beatdowns. The classic. Often imitated, never replicated. Turn 23 win? Yes, please.
Second: Eldrazi Conscription. As if you needed to improve upon Storm Crow, there's Eldrazi Conscription. Of course, that needs some ramping and some cheating. For ramping, there's whatever decent ramp spells I happen to own on MTGO. For cheating, there's Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Sovereigns of Lost Alara, and Arcanum Wings. Bruna tutors for an aura on the battlefield, graveyard, or hand and attaches it to her when she attacks. The down side is that she's already declared as an attacker, so annihilator doesn't trigger. Sovereigns is similar, but they tutor for an aura out of your library. If you have a Storm Crow on the battlefield (and when wouldn't you???), then you can play Sovereigns and swing for 11. Again, annihilator doesn't trigger until the next turn. Still, they probably scooped as soon as they were facing down a Storm Crow in the first place, so it probably won't matter. The final cheat is Arcanum Wings. This allows you to pay instead of for conscription. It requires you to have Eldrazi Conscription in your hand, though.
Third: Cloning. What's better than 1, 2, 3, or 4 storm crows? More than 4, I guess. I wanted to make a version of MTGGoldfish's 34 Siege Rhinos deck, but I couldn't make it work on the cheap. Besides, that was standard and this is modern. I'm sure that SethprobablybetterknownasSaffronOlive would have preferred to win with Storm Crow.
