With Kaldheim two new pre-constructed Commander-Decks were published. For me both had real potential so I tried to build Decks around the two new Commanders. This is the forst of these two Decks resolving around Ranar the Ever-Watchful and his Token creating ability. I tried to combine Foretell with Blinker to make use of Ranar's second ability to create Spirit Tokens. Mixed together with some Spirit -Tribal it made a pretty neat Deck. Many cards have some ETB -Effects to generate even more Bonus from Blinking.
Like most Blink -Decks I try to generate as much value as possible from blinking my creatures and getting multiple ETBs from them. Especially neat is that Ranar can generate even more Value for exiling my Creatures by creating Spirit-Tokens, which can form a nice little Army. To amplify the effect of my Spirit-Army I included a subtheme resolving around Spirit-Tribal. This effects can further be amplified with the help of the Foretell -mechanic from Kaldheim which allows me to exile cards directly from my hand. The main and unfortunately only Win-condition of this deck is to simply kill the opponents with our giant Spirit Army.
I included several different creatures with nice ETB-effects to make the most out of my Blink-Spells. The effects include Card-Draw , Lifegain , Removal , Recurssion , Blinking , Token Generation and even Ramp . To generate as many ETBs as possible I included several Blink-Spells as well as cards which can give me multiple Blinks like Brago, King Eternal , Conjurer's Closet or Deadeye Navigator . The different Spells can also be used multiple times by imprinting them into Isochron Scepter .
The Spririt-Tribal theme resolves around Long-Forgotten Gohei , Battleground Geist , Drogskol Captain , Drogskol Cavalry , Geist-Honored Monk , Soulherder and Supreme Phantom . Each card either boost the created Spirit Tokens or creates even more Tokens to make the army even greater. I think that the Tribal theme is currently lacking some punch but I'm not sure which cards I should inlcude to make it better.
Ranar allows me to foretell the first card each turn for instead of which is a nicee Cost-Reduction for my Spells. This effect can further amplified with the help of Cosmos Charger a card that allows me to foretell cards even in my opponents turns. I tried to include many Foretell-spells in this deck to get the most out of Ranar's abilities. Unfortunately are some Spells simply not good enough to play them. Therefore I chose the following Spells:

With Strixhaven we got some interesting new cards for this deck, but I'm not sure which cards I could include. I consider to include some of fhe following cards, not all of them are from Strixhaven though:

  1. Stonebinder's Familiar a nice One-drop Spirit that grows with the first card I exile during each of my turns
  2. Pilgrim of the Ages a Spirit with an ETB which can help me ramp
  3. Solve the Equation could help me find my Blink-Spell<(li>
  4. Resculpt a nice Removal that exiles
  5. Reduce to Memory a Removal which exiles and can thus boost my Army
  6. Expel a White Removal which has a limited uses
  7. Swords to Plowshares the Removal-Staple in white
  8. Path to Exile another white Removal-Staple
  9. Eternal Dragon could help me ramping and later be returned from my graveyard
  10. Forbidding Spirit a Ghostly Prison on a creature
  11. Phantom General a way to boost my Spirit Tokes
  12. Intangible Virtue can do the same as Phantom General
  13. Rattlechains can protect my other Spirits
  14. Windborn Muse another effect like Ghostly Prison
  15. Propaganda could increase the Pillowfort effect of the deck
  16. Court of Grace could generate an army of Angel-Tokens
  17. Ribbons of the Reikai a Spell which could draw me a whole lot of cards
All in all this deck is fun to play and generates a big load of value during the game by Blinking the different included creatures. The new Foretell-cards produce a nice additional effect for the abilites of my Commander and can suprise the opponents. Unfortunately this deck is missing real alternative Win-conditions and thus falls short especially in the late game or after a Board-Wipe. Any help to give this deck some more Punch for finishing the games is appreciated.
