Sorcery (1)

Been looking at the new Abzan commanders, puzzling over Poison counters. Decided to go for the aggressive route, with Vishgaz as the commander, though Ixhel is still in the 99 and equally works well with the strategy. I'd just take out the couple of blink cards, as those are there just to abuse Vishgaz's ETB slightly.

The idea is, as predicted, to win by getting our opponents to 10 poison counters to win. For that end, we run a few of the more cost efficient or useful/evasive Infect creatures and a lot of the new Toxic cards (plus Mite Overseer and Skrelv's hive for some minor token swarming). A lot of these creatures have 2 or less power, meaning Sidar Kondo lets them attack unblocked. And due to just attacking alone being sketchy in a four player game, Commissar Severina Raine helps us take big chunks of our enemy's life away in case we can't get the infect win.

We also have an infinite combo involving our commander- Vishgraz + Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle. Vishgraz makes 3 Mites. Sacrifice Vishraz and one of the Mites to Ashnod's Altar and use that mana to save him with Ashnod's Altar. Repeat for infinite Mites.

If need be, a Blackblade Reforged + Poisoned opponents and Rogue's Passage can help Vishgaz smash face to win through commander damage.
