Maybeboard

This deck is built around the counter doubling ability of Gilder Bairn, using Paradise Mantle and Cryptolith Rite to bounce it back and forth. The ability from Training Grounds can turn this into an infinite combo (costing only the mana it produces from tapping to activate the untap ability).

The deck is fairly quick already but with the ramp it goes even faster. A Gyre Sage with a Hydra's Growth or Forced Adaptation attached can get you more mana than you'll know what to do with, and with a Kiora's Follower you can tap it (or a Birds of Paradise) twice for double the mana.

Primordial Hydra is the ideal target for doubling counters--make it big fast and then swing. The ramp lets you bring it in big or you can attach a Hydra's Growth or Forced Adaptation to it to grow it even faster. A couple of beefed-up utility creatures can swing for game in a pinch as well.

The sideboard is all for countering decks that will take out the key creatures. Biomancer's Familiar is on the maybeboard as a budget alternative to Training Grounds.
