So when talking with a friend we discovered that Metalworker was no longer on the EDH banned list. Next, I pointed out that I thought it was interesting (not that I didn't understand why) that Timetwister is the only card in the power nine (or even power ten) that is not EDH banned. Using this line of thought; I figured that I could understand if Crumbling Sanctuary were to be put on the list. It moves everyone's life total from 40 to 87 and nullifies general damage as well; and if you have Phenax, God of Deception now every creature you own can tap to do direct damage equal to it's defense to a player. So I decided to revive a pre Mirrodin regular artifact and mix it with a heavy WUB mill theme. This is what I have so far. I would love your thoughts on this. Also Deadeye Navigator and Mistmeadow Witch are in here to abuse Sharuum the Hegemon's ability even more. I love the Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank + Whetstone combo because it is game over. The cards in the side board section are cards, like Keening Stone, that I would really love to put into the deck. The cards in the maybe section are not as important to get into the deck.
