This deck is centered primarily around Firesong and Sunspeaker's first ability which grants red spells lifelink. I filled this deck with mass damage and earthquake effects.

When you have a deck so focused on wiping the board, making your commander both indestructible and buff seems reasonable to me, so that is what I did. I have a number of equipment tutors and powerful equipments that enable firesong to hit very hard later in the game. Sunforger is particularly powerful because all the removal in this deck and various offensive spells and utility are acessible via this equipment. Unfortunately when I play my sunforger is destroyed before I get to use it quite often, so bear that in mind.

This deck is more casual than my other posted decks, and I like to use it when I just want to have some fun and don't care much for winning. That being said, this deck can do some work.

If the budget were increased, the best way to invest in upgrades is in the artifacts and mana base; shock lands, fetches, mana crypts, your mana vaults; these would be the next step.
