Aggro Tempo RDW featuring bloodrush, combat pumps and lots of inexpensive angry people to smash your opponent's face in as quick as possible.

This deck focuses heavily on HASTE and sweeping in quickly with a squad of guys (hopefully with a Battalion trigger) boosted by spells and backed up by removal, so some staple RDW cards had to be cut.

FAQ:

Why no BTE? (Burning Tree Emissary)

too slow for my taste and too inconsistent. plus, haste guys are much better, IMO, as this deck wants to kill FAST.

Why no mutavault?

I want to focus my mana on putting bodies on board and pumping/burning to kill my opponent as fast as i can rather than spend 2 mana animating a land that loses its creature status at the end of turn.

WHY NO RECKONERS?!

TOO. FREAKING. SLOW. plus, the 3 drops in the mainboard can return to your hand after they die. Reckoner just rots.
