Recent changes to the deck have had me adding increasingly more Blue, first with Sarkhan Unbroken, then with a couple Stubborn Denial, and now the full set of denial alongside the flavor of Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh. I completely dropped Lightning Bolt because it was always underwhelming in a meta of Death's Shadow, Tron, Taking Turns, and Lantern Control. Stubborn Denial has been hugely impactful in both disrupting my opponents and protecting my dragons so I'm giving it the full set over bolt. Bolas is coming in over Dragonlord Kolaghan because Bolas.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I used to have Dragon Tempest in the deck, it was one of the main inspirations for it. I ended up removing it though because I always ended up wanting anything else in my hand instead. There was never a turn where I wanted to play it, I always ended up playing ramp, removal, or an actual dragon instead.

Utvara Hellkite was also in my original build but I took that out for being way too slow. In an average game I only want to see one or two rampers and I never got the chance to play Utvara.

I've only seen Tron twice at my LGS, one R/G and one U/W. I performed better against the U/W but I got fairly slow hands for both and their threats just pulled ahead. My sideboard is pretty useless against Tron so that didn't help, if it ever becomes prevalent at my store I'll add in cards like Sowing Salt

Why not Dragonlord Atarka? It's in the right colors, and dragons are swarming.

I've thought about adding her as a 1-of curve topper but I've never gotten around to trying her out. She does seem a little slow at 7 mana but the damage could make her worth the wait, I'll do some testing to check her out.

Also, against other ramp decks, which I have at my LGS, I also enjoy running 3x Dragonlord's Servant to help out-ramp, and 1 copy of Atarka, World Render to essentially double the dragon's attacking power. Do you think maybe a 2 of of the Servants could make the actual cut, or are they too specialized?

With all the non-dragons I want to play, particularly post-board, I don't think that Dragonlord's Servant carries quite the same power as he would in a more focused dragon deck. I am considering making another version of this deck with less interaction and more aggressive ramping and servant could make it in there. Atarka, World Render would also have a spot in the less interactive build too, especially if I include more haste enablers too.

I haven't tested discard extensively but I feel like you could easily replace the removal spells with discard. I personally prefer having targeted removal over discard but I think there is definitely room for either to be used.

Dragon Tempest makes for some goof early game damage
