Ramp

• Numerous mana dorks, such as Elves of Deep Shadow , Elvish Mystic , & Llanowar Elves as well as rocks such as Golgari Signet & Sol Ring should help get the deck rolling early.
• This will be critical because this deck runs light on lands; you'll need to aggressively mulligan in order to prevent being mana/color screwed.
• The low CMC creatures skew green, so ideally you'll want a minimum of 2 lands that can tap for .
• Elvish Archdruid or a level 5 Joraga Treespeaker can create massive amounts of mana once you get a decent board presence established.
• Multiple fetches as well as Cultivate or Far Wanderings can also be used to fish out basic lands.

Card Draw

• Beast Whisperer will get you a lot of mileage if you can keep him alive. Try to get him on the board early.
• Sacrifice creatures to Izoni, Thousand-Eyed or Vraska, Golgari Queen to draw cards and ideally set off some of the sac triggers at the same time

Recursion

• Meren of Clan Nel Toth & Deadbridge Chant are your most reliable tools for bringing cards back from the graveyard.
• Gleancrawler is useful as well, but is a bit more limited.
• Use Wirewood Symbiote to bounce Eternal Witness or Golgari Findbroker back to your hand to dig cards out of the graveyard repeatedly.
• If you're short on creatures, Profane Command or Victimize can be used to get them back into play. As can Journey to Eternity   after you flip it.
• Animate Dead & Beacon of Unrest Can grab creatures from opponents' graveyards in addition to your own!

Tutors

• Fierce Empath can be used to tutor for Gleancrawler if you need some recursion or Izoni, Thousand-Eyed if you are in need of card draw and/or a sac outlet.
• Dark Petition , Demonic Collusion , Diabolic Tutor , & Increasing Ambition are available for finding any other pieces that are needed.
• Sidisi, Undead Vizier is also waiting to extort your way to the card that you need, while also triggering a sac.

Removal

• Utilize Wirewood Symbiote to bounce Reclamation Sage in order to deal with problematic artifacts or enchantments.
• In Garruk's Wake & Life's Finale are expensive, but can be used to clear the board of creatures if you need a reset.
• You also have Torment of Hailfire & Vona's Hunger as quasi board wipes. Torment can be particularly nasty once you get your mana ramped all the way.
• Gaze of Granite or Pernicious Deed are your options if you need to nuke everything on the board.
• Ashes to Ashes & Sisters of Stone Death can exile indestructible creatures; alternatively, you can deal with them using -X/-X via Lys Alana Scarblade or Profane Command .
• Deathrite Shaman is extremely useful for dealing with problematic cards in opponents' graveyards, while also providing additional bonuses. This a a clutch card to get out early and put to work!

Wincons

1. Create a massive army of elves to overrun your enemies!
2. Sac bigger creatures to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord then bring them back from the graveyard for another round. Cheap creatures that get big like Scute Mob are great options. Immaculate Magistrate is a boss for this plan of attack; once you get a swarm of elves on the battlefield, even your tokens can become massive bombs. Shaman of the Pack can supplement this strategy with more direct damage.
3. Trigger Vraska, Golgari Queen 's ultimate for a cheap, yet satisfying way to quickly wrap up the game.
