Oswald is a fun combo deck with some neat combo lines! The game plan here is to stax your opponents while you put together a line you can win with. While there are some pricier cards in here I am not quite budget-less with this list since I want to be able to build it in paper. I've also avoided using any hard-locks, even though I know there are some good ones with this commander using the likes of Drannith Magistrate with Uba Mask and Knowledge Pool, because hard-locking a board is personally not my kind of thing. This deck is still very much a work in progress so any advice is welcome!

Game Ending Combos:

With Illusionist's Bracers Equipped (1WWW)

1. Sacrifice a 1-cmc artifact to Oswald, triggering Illusionist's Bracers, and get any 2 cmc rock & Magewright's Stone.
2. Add mana with the 2 cmc rock and untap Oswald with Magewright's Stone.
3. Sacrifice the 2 cmc rock and get Tooth of Ramos & Thousand-Year Elixir.
4. Tap and sacrifice Tooth of Ramos for 2 mana and untap Oswald with Thousand-Year Elixir.
5. Sacrifice Thousand-Year Elixir into Clock of Omens & Goblin Cannon.
6. Untap Magewright's Stone by tapping Clock of Omens & Goblin Cannon.
7. Untap Oswald with Magewright's Stone.
8. Sacrifice Magewright's Stone and get Basalt Monolith & Rings of Brighthearth.
9. Add mana with Basalt Monolith then untap it by tapping Illusionist's Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth.
10. Proceed to generate infinite mana using Basalt Monolith & Rings of Brighthearth.
11. Win the game using Goblin Cannon.

With Mesmeric Orb on Board (3WW)

1. Sacrifice a 2-cmc artifact to Oswald (1-cmc works too, for 1W extra get Magewright's Stone) and get Basalt Monolith.
2. Mill your library in its entirety.
3. Flashback Sevinne's Reclamation targeting Myr Welder and Thousand-Year Elixir.
4. Exile Staff of Domination from your graveyard with Myr Welder, then pay 1 to untap it.
5. Exile any artifact that taps for 2 or more from your graveyard with Myr Welder, then pay 1 to untap it.
6. Generate infinite mana with Myr Welder.
7. Exile Goblin Cannon from your graveyard with Myr Welder then deal infinite damage to your opponents.

With Basalt Monolith on Board (3WW)

1. Sacrifice a 1-cmc artifact to Oswald and get Mesmeric Orb.
2. Mill your library in its entirety.
3. Flashback Sevinne's Reclamation targeting Myr Welder and Thousand-Year Elixir.
4. Exile Staff of Domination from your graveyard with Myr Welder, then pay 1 to untap it.
5. Exile any artifact that taps for 2 or more from your graveyard with Myr Welder, then pay 1 to untap it.
6. Generate infinite mana with Myr Welder.
7. Exile Goblin Cannon from your graveyard with Myr Welder then deal infinite damage to your opponents.

With Rings of Brighthearth on Board (4WW)

1. Sacrifice a 2-cmc artifact, copying the ability with Rings of Brighthearth and get Basalt Monolith & Thousand-Year Elixir.
2. Proceed to generate infinite mana using Basalt Monolith & Rings of Brighthearth.
3. Untap Oswald with Thousand-Year Elixir.
4. Sacrifice any 3-cmc artifact (such as Thousand-Year Elixir) into Goblin Cannon and win.

With Thousand-Year Elixir on Board (4WWW)

1. Sacrifice a 1-cmc artifact and get Mesmeric Orb, then untap Oswald with Thousand-Year Elixir.
2. Sacrifice a 2-cmc artifact (1-cmc works too, for 1W extra get Magewright's Stone) and get Basalt Monolith.
3. Mill your library in its entirety.
4. Flashback Sevinne's Reclamation targeting Myr Welder and any artifact that taps for 2 or more.
5. Exile Staff of Domination from your graveyard with Myr Welder, then pay 1 to untap it.
