Hey I'm actually documenting this. So, lets start off with an introduction to what the goal is of this deck. The idea is to swarm with tokens, use some enchants, and win in a couple of ways.

So first the win conditions:

Hit them, frequently.

Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void = win

The win condition is really basic. There is a lot of control in the deck and that's the point. what this deck isn't is a token aggro deck. The token's will be used for things like Smokestack which will control the field so that with the tokens you do have left can hit easier.

Some of the main defenses in the deck revolve around Lich. Now its a weird card and the things you use with it are even stranger. Lets start off on getting around Lich's main defect. We use Delaying Shield so that damage is turned into loss of life. Its a very semantic argument but its why it works and is included.

A list of all lich combos in the deck:

Convalescent Care draw +4 on upkeep

Illusions of Grandeur draw +20 and loss of life never effects you

Second Chance gain a turn for 3 mana

Words of Worship draw lots

Ivory Tower changes the "meh" artifact into a draw on upkeep

Please note Lich changes the way other cards work because you don't take damage anymore. Please note YOU CANNOT PAY LIFE, you don't have any life to pay therefore you can't pay the cost, you can lose life, but not pay life. Now we don't die unless our enchants are destroyed.

Some enchants increase the effect of these. This means you are heavily depended on your CMDR being out and staying out. That's kind of makes this deck an expensive meh deck. The argument of "when it works" goes both ways so just play a deck that works more frequently than this. This is just an expensive fun deck. Once you get lich out the game changes but you don't need to. You have enough control in smokestacks and bitterblosem to have fun.

Consider dropping Cabal Coffers, most of the cards require a high amount of so I added it, but its not needed.

Also you can drop most of the Lich cards and have the deck be cheaper by simply running Necropotence + Solitary Confinement but I like the more aggressive Lich + Delaying Shield
