Fast Owling Mine; Foretold Visions

Modern Artifact Creatureless UR (Izzet)

Credit for this deck goes to a guy from my local game store, as this is quite possibly the most unique deck I've ever played against.

While Owling Mine is a relatively known deck, it tends to be slow and a bit unwieldy. This version fixes that problem for the most part, with the combo of Ancestral Vision + Runeflare Trap being able to banish opponents to the shadow realm! Any feedback on the deck is welcome, as this is a mostly budget version of the deck that could definitely use some improvement.

The deck's main goal is to get our opponent to draw as many cards as possible while punishing them for it at the same time. Howling Mine, Fevered Visions, and Mikokoro, Center of the Sea all force our opponent to draw cards, while also giving us cards with no drawback. For punishing, Fevered Visions, Ebony Owl Netsuke and Runeflare Trap are our main finishers. But with Modern being an intensely fast format, we need to slow down the opponent. So, cards such as Whelming Wave, Exhaustion, and Boomerang all work to slow down our opponent and also fill their hand. We also have standard Izzet cards like Lightning Bolt and Remand, etc. etc. But one of our strongest options is the use of Ancestral Vision and Runeflare Trap. Simply suspending Ancestral Vision can work, but combining it with As Foretold allows us to fire off Ancestral Vision for free during our opponents turn and then smash them across the face with multiple Traps to deal upwards of 20 damage a turn for two red mana! tl;dr stall your opponent while forcing them to draw cards and slapping them with heavy damage.
The sideboard contains usual sideboard thingiemadoobabbors such as Anger of the Gods and Abrade, but there are also some unique choices for our matchups. Ivory Crane Netsuke allows us to gain life against aggro while we're still drawing cards off of the mines, and Reverberate gives us options against control by copying a Trap or even their own counterspell to get around counters. Temple Bell lets us force card draw at any time, while Crumble to Dust can annihilate decks like Tron in a single sweep!
Overall this deck is very fun, with a unique gameplan that doesn't have many answers. Once again, any help, especially with the manabase and any improvements is greatly appreciated! (Also, this is my first time actually making a deck and description here, so please don't kill me or tell me I'm a doodoo head because that would hurt my feelings)
