Sideboard

Instant (1)

Enchantment (6)

This is NOT your mother's Mairsil. You may have noticed there is a side board for this deck, that's because it is a wish board that enables you to win with some alternate win-cons. At its most core element this deck is a Doomsday deck. That means that you will be probably combo-ing off every game. For this deck to operate you will never have to cast your general.

There are a couple ways to win the game with this deck, they include the following:

The goal of this win-con is to EXILE your own deck. All of it.

Play cards like Demonic Consultation, Spoils of the Vault to tutor for Mirror of Fate. The goal is to exile your whole deck. Once Mirror is obtained, cards like Paradigm Shift act as a surefire way to remove your deck from the game. The goal is to exile card:Labratory Maniac and some form of card draw. Once it comes back to your turn, pop the Mirror searching for UP TO 7 cards and shuffle them into your deck. Once it is back to your turn, activate them and win the game due to having no library.

Play with cards like Last Chance or Final Fortune to ensure that you can win the game quickly. Wheel effects will act as a means to cycle through your deck quickly to find all the materials you are looking for.

If Laboratory Maniac ever ends up in your hand or graveyard, Mairsil acts as a way to put it in exile. Mirror can still reach exiled cards with cage counters on them as long as they are face up.

Finally, if Mirror of Fate is ever exiled for whatever reason you have wish effects like card:Mastermind"s Acquistion to fetch another copy of Mirror.

This is a fun, goofy way for you to win the game, especially in EDH. This win-con relies on Hedron Alignment.

The purpose of this method is

  1. Find/ Play cards like card:Mastermind"s Acquistion, Death Wish, and Burning Wish to fetch 3 extra copies of Hedron Alignment. (Play Burning Wish to find a copy of Mastermind's Acquisition to get an Alignment).

  2. Place each Alignment in the appropriate zones.

  3. Win the game.

In some situations your opponents may have removal to deal with the enchantments. This is why we play with 7 Alignment's total. If need be, wish for the others and win the game through that method.

Updates Add

I added some newer cards to the deck. I removed some of the clunky things and hopefully made the deck smoother to run.

Also, we have a dope description now for how to pilot the deck!
