I lost all the games I played though not by much. managed to win a game and get them to low single digits but alas a fail...for now

I got some good advice and found the mana curve was a bit too high, I wasn't able to get most stuff out until turn 4 or 5 and with the aggro people play it proved to slow

Doesn't do well against control decks but once the cards get out it can overwhelm them.

took out the green elements and have gone for white/red. will re jig the deck and update accordingly

I would say, if you are going for a budget Exert deck, you should focus on more exert lords, as well as some more efficient exert creatures themselves. In addition, untap effects may be important. Cards like Glory-Bound Initiate, Khenra Scrapper, and even Glorybringer could make for a good aggro deck. I would personally drop blue and add white, as a Naya colored deck would go well here. Resolute Survivors, Vizier of the True, and Watchful Naga are some of my favourites. For untap effects, I would recommend Dauntless Aven, Prepare and the like, along with others.

since you added white, always watching may be a good addition to give all your creatures vigilance allowing exertion every turn, and the stat boost is also nice, also it curves really nicely with glory-bound initiate letting you attack with a 5/5 lifelink vigilance on turn 3 and every turn after, providing neither gets removed, though, always watching may be difficult to play on turn 3 in a 3 colour deck.

Thanks for the tip.
I have two of them, so I will see how it does my deck and go from there
