Esper Creative Mode

This Esper deck uses a simple™ combo to drop your entire library on to the field in a single turn (minus lands, but they're useless anyway), as early as turn 3.

Note: A number of the cards in this deck are filler, such as Bruna and Gisela or Hive Mind, and can be swapped out for whatever you want to vomit onto the board. These are just the cards I wanted to mess with.

The core combo chain centers around casting Dread Return to cheat out Angel of Glory's Rise and using the revived humans to do absurd things.

The basic combo requires the following:

• Have Five Mana (At least one white and one blue)

• Have Undercity Informer on the field.

• Have Mana Severance castable (i.e. in your hand).

• Narcomoeba must be in your library, Lingering Souls must be in your library or graveyard OR have 3 extra creatures on the field.

• Dread Return, and Angel of Glory's Rise must be in your library or graveyard.

• Priest of Gix, Fiend Hunter, and Cartel Aristocrat must not be in your hand unless you have extra mana to cast them.

If all of the above is true, congrats! You're ready to get creative.

• Cast Mana Severance.

• Sacrifice Undercity Informer and target yourself. Your entire library is now in your graveyard.

  Narcomoeba triggers and comes back to the field automatically. Darksteel Colossus keeps us from decking out immediately.

• Flashback Lingering Souls, creating two 1/1 Spirits.

• Sacrifice the spirits and Narcomoeba to flashback Dread Return targeting Angel of Glory's Rise.

  All of your humans return to the battlefield. Most of them don't matter right now, but be careful how you stack triggers.

• Have Fiend Hunter's ETB target Angel of Glory's Rise, exiling it.

Now we have a lot of tools at our disposal, let's start with mana.

• Sacrifice Priest of Gix and then Fiend Hunter to Cartel Aristocrat.

  When Fiend Hunter dies, Angel of Glory's Rise returns to the battlefield, bringing both the priest and hunter right back.

Repeat for infinite black mana.

• On the last repetition, also sac Archaeomender. When it comes back, return Mycosynth Lattice to your hand and cast it.

  That infinite black mana is now any color.

Finally,

• Sac and return Snapcaster Mage targeting Yawgmoth's Will to cast any and everything out of your graveyard.

Enjoy your newfound omnipotence.

Misc. Advice

As you may have noticed, Zur is mainly a distraction and a tutor for Rhystic Study to help you get set up.

Setting up combos consistently can be hard, but there are lots of tools in here to help you, such as plenty of draw and tutor spells. There's also:

• One with Nothing and Key to the City to help you pitch cards you accidentally got in your hand.

• Pull from Eternity and Runic Repetition in case someone messes with your combo and you need those flashback cards back.

• Darksteel Colossus and Elixir of Immortality to keep you from decking yourself after the combo.

• And Time Warp for jumping to the next turn so you don't lose cards permanently to Yawgmoth's Will
