Played a local 4 round tournament this past Thursday, beat the Red Eldrazi deck and a Jund Dreadhorde Arcanist brew, lost to Burn (annoying, but expected) and BG Rock (they were able to grind much better than me, which was disappointing). Considering grabbing some more Kaya, Orzhov Usurper since she plays well with the Ashioks and Nihil Spellbomb . I ulted her for 15 damage + the win against the Red Eldrazi player lol

Played a 5 round local tournament, opponent one round dropped, I dropped the last round to go to work. Went 1-2 in matches played, beating Elves, losing to The Rock and Tron.

• Elves went way better than I expected, which in hindsight shouldn't have been surprising considering I run 11 removal spells, 3 sweepers, and 3 Snapcaster Mage .

• Lost to the Rock again this week, still feels like I should be able to grind it out against them. This match could have gone either way, and in game 3 it felt like my loss came down to a 50/50 decision where I just happened to choose the losing 50%.

• Tron seems like an awful matchup for me. Maybe I jam some Vraska's Contempt s in here??

Karn's Bastion has been kinda sucking. I thought it might be cool with so many walkers, but turn 5 for your first Proliferate doesn't work so well in such a fast format.
