Elsha time!

Color pie shift from Lyra's Alethiometer, my old Isochron Kess list which I shall revive soon. In the meantime, I wanted to cast Elsha as Lyra Belacqua, trying to make sense of life using her Golden Compass.

Also just a generic 8/10 cEDH Elsha-Top storm list. I welcome suggestions!

Top Combo Rundown Show

If you haven't seen the Elsha-Top combo before, it goes as follows:

Play Elsha of the Infinite

Cast Sensei's Divining Top

Cast a card like Helm of Awakening that reduces the cost of Top to zero.

Tap the Top to draw a card.

Through Elsha, cast Top off the top of your deck.

Repeat to draw your deck, set the storm count to 80, and pump Elsha with prowess. And you're done!

And the general win condition is to win via burn damage with these triggered abilities:

Plan B is to mess around looping Pyrite Spellbomb and Elixir of Immortality into and out of our deck enough times to kill everyone.

Plan C is to get Elsha to 21/21 and use Manifold Key to at least delete 1 player.

Plan D involves at least 69,420 goat tokens.

Alternate Combo Rundown Show

As you might foresee, a decent percentage of the time our Sensei's Divining Top is going to eat a Krosan Grip or Dovin's Veto. What to do?

Well, we can get some incredibly stormy turns off utilizing Basalt Monolith infinite mana loops, as follows:

Play Basalt Monolith

Play either Rings of Brighthearth or Zirda, the Dawnwaker; Zirda makes the untap cost 1, while Rings lets us pay 5 mana to get 6 back.

Generate infinite mana.

Slam down a Staff of Domination, gain infinite life, then draw the whole deck and start windmill-slamming cards onto the battlefield.

What if no Basalt Monolith and/or no Staff of Domination? Voltaic Key can do some incredibly dumb stuff too.

Play Voltaic Key and Rings of Brighthearth.

Play Chromatic Orrery or get at least 4 counters on an Everflowing Chalice, aka a Big Mana Rock.

Float mana and activate the Key targeting the Big Mana Rock.

Use Rings to copy the ability, targeting the Key itself. After both are untapped, you have floating mana. Make infinite mana.

Play a Trading Post and start tapping and untapping it endlessly to durdle around making goats

Sac your army of goats to recur a Pyrite Spellbomb enough times to kill everyone.

(Alternatively, you could just draw your deck, but that's boring.)

There's probably some incredibly degenerate way to go off with Clock of Omens too but I haven't found it yet.
