Why this commander?

I wanted to make a colorless deck, So I went with Ulamog. I started out as a tribal Eldrazi deck. Over time I focused on Ulamog being cast. It can cast Ulamog on turn 1 and 2 but that is usually with a magical Christmas hand. However, Turn 4 or 5 I can have Ulamog in play. The deck is an aggro deck pure and simple. All the rocks aim at getting Ulamog out asap. This deck has a few infinite combos in it but it is not the focus. I don't have many tutors in here so i don't focus on the combo. If it happens, that's fine.

Ulamog is my favorite colorless commander because it brings 2 spot removal upon cast, a 10/10 Indestructible body and a devastating "mill/deck shaving" effect vs your opponent upon attack. Even if it is countered it still removes two of the biggest threats on the board. I usually focus on the combo player first to hit their pieces. Next I try to go after the control player. The table will quickly turn into archenemy once the deck starts going. There is so much value it is great. Colorless has been getting a lot of great pieces the past year so I have been upgrading as they come out.

The deck plays well without the commander in play and it is very fast. This has been a process for several years to make this deck as oppressive as I can. I never get bored playing this deck because it does not play out the same way.

Pimping out the deck:

I have tried to keep up to date with pimping out the deck. There have been some awesome foils coming out as of late. It is hard to decide on old school versions or the sweet sweet foils.

All cards that can be foiled, are now FOILED. (Kinda) It has been a struggle. Thank you to all my friends that helped with play testing it. I do have a binder of cards that I 'sideboard' pending the meta. I also keep any cards that I have changed over the years to decide on which version and speed of the deck I wanted to play. I will try to keep the maybe board with the cards I have changed over the years.

I hope to post some pictures of the deck and try to showcase the deck here on tapped out better soon.
