Embrace the Void

Eldrazi Stompy is an aggro deck with a strong, if idiosyncratic, control game. The trick to playing it well lies in being unafraid of the mull. Find a busted opener and ride it to the win.

Some observations of why it is so good:

• Almost every land also counts as a spell, and each ETBs untapped at no life cost
• Serum Powder synergizes with the London mulligan to sculpt a winning opener, and allows effective mulls to 8+ sometimes
• T0 Gemstone Caverns means this deck plays from the draw position better than most
• T1 Chalice steals games outright
• T2 Thought-Knot Seer is still pretty good
  

Some notes about specific card choices:

• It seems evident to me that Zhalfirin Void is a must. Bad topdecks are real.
• I play Endless One . It tends to be a fast clock, provides resilience to Blood Moon and when mana-deprived (curve-filler extraordinaire). It can make late game Powders and SSGs pay off with an enormous beatstick, and obviously plays well with Eldrazi Mimic . It's weak to Fatal Push and incidentally weak to effects that also destroy Chalice, though.
• Only 2x Gemstone Caverns in the main. For now I'm trying one in the side also.
• 3x Blast Zone diversifies the removal package and answers non-creature permanents, incidentally freeing up a SB slot formerly used by Ratchet Bomb .
