"To wage war, secure peace within yourself." - Emmara Tandris

This is a Selesnya Tokens Deck using the new Emmara, Soul of the Accord as the commander, this is absolutely one of my favourite decks that I don't think I will ever take apart again, I learnt this when I took it apart to build Atla Palani, Nest Tender but just didn't get the same level of enjoyment out of it then what I do with Emmara, but now she's back! With more upgrades coming soon!

Selesnya has always been one of my two favourite guilds and Emmara Tandris was one of my favourite characters from the Return to Ravnica block, but I was really dissapointed when her original card was spoilt,Emmara Tandris, but now her upgraded version has been revealed and I knew I wanted to make a deck around her! Thankfully her design has made it so there is a pretty obvious path to take with Emmara and I took full advantage of this and used a strategy which can be done well on a budget, Tokens!
This deck has three different effects in it which all help each other out, Token Producing, Convoke and Populate so I'll go through the different aspects part by part and state the choices I made.

Token Producers Show

Thanks to browsing through Reddit there are also a couple of combos in here which can close out the game if needs be too;

Clock of Omens + Emmara, Soul of the Accord + Mycosynth Lattice and another permanent nets us infinite soldier tokens from Emmara allowing us to swing for the win (This combo isn't actually in the deck anymore as it requires and is easily disrupted, but I've left it on here in case anyone wants to use it and has never heard of it before! :) )

Ashnod's Altar + Emmara, Soul of the Accord + Thornbite Staff deals infinite damage from the soldier tokens to each opponent, this combo is probably the better of the two as it requires less mana and if left alone will kill everyone once it's locked in.

So there we go, my budget, and probably terrible tokens deck using the new Emmara from Guilds of Ravnica, if you have any budget suggestions then please feel free to comment and help me out with this deck, and if you like this deck please make sure to check out my other decks by clicking on my name! :)

Just a quick side note, the cards that are in my maybeboard are ones that I will want to eventually add into this deck, but for several reasons they can't be added in just yet

Updates Add

It took a lot longer than I said it was but I finally got around to updating Emmara today, I've improved the mana base greatly by reducing the number of taplands, added in more card draw and token producers and added in some combat finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes, I haven't had a chance to play test this new list but hopefully it plays even better than before!
