{GU} This is my son's upgrade to the Commander 2021, Simic pre-con deck: Reap the Tides. The theme of this deck is to ramp hard in order to cast absurdly large sea creatures, dinosaurs and avatars onto the battlefield and trample our opponents. It's got a ton of card draw, a fair amount of landfall, and some decent control interactions. Overall, its a very powerful, budget upgrade!

Fun note on the Modal Double Faced Cards (MDFC) or "flip" cards from Zendikar Rising: if you played one as a land, and then later bounce it back to your hand, you can then cast it as its other side if you need to!

{INFINITY} We have some infinite combos in the deck:

1. We can make infinite landfall triggers happen, for creatures like Avenger of Zendikar or Rampaging Baloths. With Retreat to Coralhelm in play, tap Sakura-Tribe Scout and put Simic Growth Chamber into play from our hand. Retreat to Coralhelm will trigger, allowing us to untap Sakura-Tribe Scout. Then return Simic Growth Chamber to our hand with its own ability. Simic Growth Chamber can also be replaced with Guildless Commons.

2. We can create infinite Illusion 1/1 U w/ Flying tokens using the same mechanics as above, but with a basic land, Retreat to Coralhelm, Sakura-Tribe Scout and Meloku the Clouded Mirror.
