It seems odd no cards like Doubling Season or Primal Vigor are on here. Is there a reason for that? Other wise some other good cards for counters I've found are Incremental Growth, Phytohydra or Primordial Hydra, Solarion, and Daily Regimen. If I may say so, if you truly do have a fetish for +1/+1 counters I feel like Ghave, Guru of Spores would be a better fit for you. Abzan (G/W/B) is all about counter interaction, and the black opens up the door for things like Corpsejack Menace.

Doubling Season is there. As for going abzan; I'm just overall not a fan of black. My two favorite colors are G/W so I'd rather stick with those. Plus I already have most of the cards for this deck, I'm lacking a few of the more expensive ones. In the case of the Hydras, I didn't do much research for this deck, as its basically a copy of my Trostani, Selesnya's Voice EDH deck, albeit for a few of the cards.

AstroAA, you have some fun cards here, that I've either never seen or had forgotten about (e.g., Winding Canyons and Land Tax).

I was looking at your artifacts ... I find Akroma's Memorial and Caged Sun rarely stay on the board long enough to make a difference. Maybe Contagion Clasp or Bow of Nylea?

clayperce Thank you! Yeah; I never knew about some cards like Triumph of the Hordes until a few weeks ago. It is really overpowered in decks like this and token decks.

On the note of Akroma's Memorial and Caged Sun I can probably find a replacement for Akroma's, however really I only have Caged Sun in the deck for extra mana which is really useful in getting things out early and paying for the +1/+1 counters through Chorus of the Conclave. I do like the Contagion Clasp, but I'm on the wall with Bow of Nylea

Makes sense. If you've got your group somehow convinced to leave your Caged Sun alone, more power to you ... literally! :-)

Speaking of mana though, I almost always run a Citanul Hierophants. And while I'm not a big fan of Karametra, God of Harvests, a lot of people seam to swear by her. And though there's a lot of enchantment hate out there, Druids' Repository can be REALLY powerful too.

And while I'm on enchantments, I love Cathars' Crusade and it might be a good fit for your deck too. I also really like Reconnaissance for aggro and Shield of the Oversoul when I want to Voltron somebody up...neither brings counters though, so no worries if they're not a fit for you.

And oh yeah: Oran-Rief, the Vastwood!

You'll have to ingore the red cards, but you may find something else useful in my Rith deck Smashface Gardening with Rith (suggestions please).

One more thought: Maybe a Tempt with Glory, to go with your Tempt with Discovery

maybe add a Doubling Season.

@Guildsofravnica its in there in the maybeboard; I would run it but I don't want to pay $30 for a card that is immediately going to get blown up.

Man, I would suggest:

Archetype of Endurance, Asceticism and Privileged Position for protection

Doubling Cube, Mana Reflection and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger in addition to Mirari's Wake to make loads of mana

Primal Vigor as a replacement for Doubling Season, since is cheaper money wise

Nylea, God of the Hunt and other trample enablers

Strionic Resonator, because is dumb with the Chorus

I use all of them in my Chorus deck, all to great effect. Anyway, +1 for a great deck

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger is banned at my gamestore or I'd definitely run it. I suppose I should've said that in the description, my bad. Archetype of Endurance is a good suggestion, thanks! As for Primal Vigor, I'm not a fan of it because it also gives the benefits to your opponents. I did not know that Strionic Resonator existed... that could be absolutely hilarious.

Not trying to say anything bad against your playgroup, but compared to the power of Iona and Vorinclex, Reliquary Tower just seems like a super petty ban.

canterlotguardian haha; I totally agree :P Cards there don't really get banned unless they're completely overpowered or someone did something to get it banned, so someone probably did some massive stupid crap that just got it banned. I myself haven't been up there recently so I can't say for sure, oh well, gotta live with it.
