Hey guys! This is my Edgar deck I have built, it's just a little project I have going on and I'll explain quickly what it's game plan is, how it does it, and why I built it.

First of all is why I built it:I've been playing magic for over a decade now, and the first pre-built deck I ever bought and worked on was called Carnival of Blood, back in the good old innistrad days. This deck was easy to learn, full of fun vampires, and was unusually explosive. I had an absolute blast playing it.

I had been playing that deck as my favorite deck for years upon years until it finally started to collect dust in the back of my collection, until Commander 2017 came out.The moment I saw the spoiler for Edgar, my old vampire deck git dusted off, and my old vampire buddies were already craving blood.

Even though this deck started as a pre-built, I have sunk time, love and money into this to make it the scourge of the table that it has become now, playing it is always nostalgic and super fun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, even if this is still in progress.

The game plan of this deck: to do it out vampires quickly, buff them up, and smash face.Pretty straight forward right?Even though it's straightforward, it has plenty of ways of ensuring a win, dealing with a multitude of decks, and making sure it lands its hits.

How it does it: Edgar himself is a beast, spitting out tokens faster than you can say Rumplestilskin. And with a good mana curve you can easily have the biggest board presence, after that are cards such as Anointed Procession and Cathars' Crusade to make sure your foes really feel the pain.

Then there are amazing cards such as card:Vona,Butcher of Magan, Captivating Vampire, Olivia Voldaren, card:Dark Imposter , and Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet, and the list goes on. If you have a problem with some creatures, we can take care of it, anything else, just kill them and their permanent is gone, or play card:Vona,Butcher of Magan.
