Maybeboard

Other (1)

This is my longest standing deck, and I have been working on it since I started playing EDH around 4 years ago. It's definitely not the strongest commander, but something about the challenge just keeps bringing me back whenever I dissemble it.

The plan is as follows:

Control early game with counters and spot removal while ramping and making a few tokens here and there for blocks.

Get Noyan Dar out and make 1-2 big, indestructible lands, and protect your board with counterspells.

Start slamming people with 8/8's, 10/10's and 12/12's. Inkmoth nexus can kill out of nowhere, but big swinging lands do pack a punch on their own.

Nuke all nonLAND permanents a few times and keep on swinging!!

View from above is an excellent finisher, and should not be underrated.

I initially underrated Rule of Law in this style of deck. Getting it out with Moderation is amazing, since neither really slows down your game plan at all. The idea here is to just pass on your turn and play an instant or two on your opponents' turns while dragging the game out and accruing an army of indestructible land creatures
