This deck will carry you into the long game, and is surprisingly flexible in how it plays out. When playing against aggro decks, you can trade aggressively as it will always be easier for you to rebuild a ground force than your opponent. Additionally, 4 Aven Riftwatchers means you can fetch lifegain and trade on demand, which allows you to stall out an aggro plan very easily.

Against control I'd be looking to run 2 dispels in the sb, and maybe another hindering light. These counterspells will allow you to cast more countermagic in a single turn by better utilizing your available blue sources. Hindering light will still be important, as protecting your creatures, especially on the turn you land them, will be critical to winning, as you have to play the aggro/control role against control decks. It's possible that even choosing to run a few strong 2 drop rebels to bring in from the sb might be a correct choice as well, allowing you to increase your threat density.
