This partner commander deck is an elven powerhouse. It is capable of getting the elfball rolling faster than your opponents can respond. Kodama of the East Tree can easily build a massive snowball of elves with very little effort. While Miara, Thorn of the Glade keeps the ball rolling.
Kodama was easily recognized as one of the most, if not the most, overpowered partner commanders to date. Rightfully so, with him allowing you to cheat out permanents with every other permanent you play. (including lands) Not to mention the insane combo potential with Golgari Rot Farm . He can go infinite with the landfall triggers on Golgari Rot Farm + Scute Swarm or Golgari Rot Farm + Rampaging Baloths Miara on the other hand was easily overlooked. As I'm writing this there are only sixteen decks posted on EDHREC with this partner combo. Miara, Thorn of the Glade ability is subtle but deadly. She also has an incredibly cheap CMC. The biggest disadvantage of using Kodama is the need for tons of card draw, because of how quickly he empties your hand. With both of them on the field Miara can just go absolutely crazy with synergy cards like Ashnod's Altar + Skullclamp and a million elves and Moldervine Reclamation + Phyrexian Reclamation for fantastic value. There is a good amount of graveyard manipulation and reanimation strategies as well. Such as Dread Return , Noxious Revival ,Treasure find , and Golgari Findbroker . The main win-cons of the deck are going infinite with Landfall triggers and bouncing Golgari Rot Farm back to your hand, Craterhoof Behemoth , or Triumph of the Hordes . There are quite a few ways to get any of these combos into play. Such as Diabolic Tutor , Worldly Tutor , Sylvan Tutor , Fierce Empath , Wirewood Herald , Fauna Shaman or my favorite flashing out Maralen of the Mornsong on your upkeep. There are also a few ways to get your Golgari Rot Farm in hand. Like Crop Rotation , Elvish Reclaimer , and Expedition Map This deck is a ton of fun. Hope you enjoy.

(Most of the deck value comes from the mana base that can easily be changed to a more budget friendly land setup the only requirement is a Golgari Rot Farm)
