Izzet spellslinger decks. Everyone has built one in one way or another. The fantasy of being a Mage hurling fireballs and manipulating the Arcane is one that every nerd has dreamt about. Veyran will help you live your dreams.

Veyran is really self explanatory. We can trigger permanents who care about instants/sorceries like Archmage Emeritus, Geolectrode twice per cast, and have a wide variety of value depending on boardstate. Draw cards, deal damage, make tokens, create mana, its bonkers.

Spellslinging should own up to its name, so we have a TON of 1-2 mana cantrips to draw us so many damn cards. With a few copy effects, we have the potential to go infinite and combo out, but Veyran is a threat all on her own with commander damage. Double prowess can stack really quickly, and so Slip Through Space and Fists of Flame help get our damage through and take someone out.

This deck is explosive, artful, and will make you a better Magic player after figuring out a 20 minute turn.
