Grixis Artifact shenaniganry is becoming more and more possible in this day and age, with the new 40k precons and the upcoming Mishra Eminent One. I've been waiting for a grixis artifact bullshit commander and he has come in style!

The main gimmick is to get Trazyn (or Necrotic Ooze, if you have to) into play while an infinite mana combo for it is in the graveyard (any artifact that taps for 2 and either P-P, Energy Ref, or SoD [Palladium Myr and P-P ONLY for N-Ooze]). There're a few ways to get everything in place, mostly revolving around milling yourself, and from there you can use whatever other effects there are in the graveyard to win, usually lithoform engine for infinite duplicates, and/or walking ballista for infinite pings (N-Ooze only works for the WB/PM/PP combo to go infinite, sadly, but he has value outside of that, and has a solid statblock anyways).

It can be faster to simply play Mirrodin Besieged and get lucky with a Mirror-Mad Phantasm trigger, but I dont advise trying to get it unless it's late into the game and you think you can pull it off against one or two opponents.

Going infinite is easy, if slow to start, but not your priority early on. What you need is protection. You need chump blockers, artifacts that reduce the things the opponents can do to you, etc. Pay attention to what your opponents are doing and tutor protection against their stuff. That should give you the time you need to set up victory.

Dont use the tutors on pieces of your infinite, unless you don't have literally anything else you could be tutoring for. Instead focus on what value pieces you can make use of in that moment. Early on this means protection, but once you're relatively protected, it can be cards like Mirror-Mad Phantasm or Kuldotha Forgemaster.

The easiest way to get this engine rolling is to mill yourself using Mirror-Mad Phantasm, and then use one of many ways to get Trazyn into play, either by using reanimation, or just good ol' fashioned tutoring.

Keep in mind that Szeras works on Mishra's token copies. Mana values are something that carries over to the copy.

BTW Anger is actually surprisingly important. You need it in the bin so Trazyn can do his thing the turn you cast him, otherwise there's no way its surviving a full loop of the table.
