This is a budget deck that I built for an EDH secret santa among my playgroup. This deck's goal is to drain the life of our opponents without necessarily having to get our hands dirty with combat. I thought this deck would be a good choice for my friend since they seemed to take interest in the lifegain strategy and in Dina, Soul Steeper (likely for her looks rather than her abilities). Going into this challenge I definitely thought including black in the deck was another aspect he'd enjoy since his other decks don't include that color; hopefully my choices will pay off.
