My first attempt at an Oathbreaker deck, I am completely blind to the meta but so far it's pretty good. 8/18/2019

Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast feels amazing to play as a commander in this aristocrats style deck, Terminate however feels underwhelming. Maybe Dreadbore would be better or maybe I can get in on some of that spicy, spicy Rakdos Charm action. I love Rakdos Charm.

The deck could use some more hand hate but in a multiplayer format it's kinda hard to come by. I currently only have Bottomless Pit which feels good but maybe it needs friends.

I have no idea what combo decks look like in this format, but this deck probably does really bad against them.

Living Death is a maybe at this point, I am not sure I can take advantage of it that well with just sacs.

I am looking to replace Disciple of Bolas with either Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, I hear yawg is insane but I think Kalitas would fit better into my deck but I will test both.

Grim Haruspex isn't that great because we sac a lot of tokens. I will look to replace this card at some point if it continues to under perform.

Winter Orb is a personal favorite of mine but there has been some speculation that it isn't fit for this deck, I argue that being able to sac it with Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast allows you to end it at sorcery speed on your terms. Testing will tell if we want to keep it or even add more effects like it.

Necrologia is a personal favorite of mine but I can see myself cutting it for lower CMC draw. Best case scenario it's a 5 mana draw 7 lose 7, which in commander is a steal but in a 20 life format I don't know if I actually like that too much without really any way of gaining life aside from Zulaport Cutthroat or Blood Artist. Risk Factor is a card that is really enticing but I don't think it's as impactful.

I would like to find a slot for Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath as, even in EDH, it can close out games very fast. It makes bodies which we like, gains some life which is welcome but 5 power every other turn is really gross. I expect a lot of planeswalker hate in this format given the free access to a walker so it may be easier to remove here than in EDH. I am still excited to test it.

I think Walking Ballista may be too 1v1 focused and am thinking of changing it to Myr Sire, Bloodghast, Despoiler of Souls, Dread Wanderer, Nether Traitor Rekindling Phoenix or Putrid Goblin
